Welcome to Delinquent Designs the creation of Jeffrey Nichols. Jeff is a qualified jeweller that now specialises in JewelCAD, a jewellery specific program. In 1998 Jeff Started his apprenticeship with Wallace Bishop Jewellers in there state of the art workshop in Brisbane. While learning his craft Jeff was presented with the chance to learn JewelCAD and when he completed his apprenticeship in 2002 he became Wallace Bishop’s main CAD technician, on top of drawing many new designs for mass production and custom made pieces, Jeff was also responsible for being second in charge of the repairs workshop. In 2004 he moved to the sunshine coast of Queensland to work with Facet Manufacturing (the company that introduced the Australian jewellery industry to the rapid prototyping technology). Whilst working at Facet he worked with Australia’s top JewelCAD drawers. Then in 2006 when the owners of Facet Manufacturing decided to divide the company into two businesses Jeff joined the daughter company, Flair Jewellery, which specialises in custom made one off pieces and after moving back to the Gold Coast in 2007 for family reasons he decided to follow his dream of starting his own business to provide the best CAD service he could to the jewellery industry.
